Rampaging orc armies. Vicious bounty hunters. Hot lady robots.
Just another day in the life of Ian the Warlock and his succubus Alaria.
On the run from a goblin mob boss, Ian and Alaria travel to a distant land to kill her next ex-master - who just happens to be a gnome.
Like the other villains before him, this one plans to make SHORT work of our heroes! (Sorry, bad joke.)
In addition to saving themselves, our intrepid duo has to deal with a host of other problems - including steampunk war machines, female elf sex cults, and the end of the world.
Warning This is a story featuring naked women, threesomes, kinky sex, demons, warlocks, violence, revenge, and moral quandaries.

"A great continuation of the series. I must admit that when it popped up on my new books list, I almost broke a finger getting it onto my Kindle. New characters, new challenges, new characters while continuing to develop and engage us with the main protagonists.
So, when does #5 show up <hint, hint>?"

Gnome Place Like Home Succubus Series Book 4 Audible Audio Edition AJ Markam Iggy Toma Podium Publishing Books Reviews
- I have enjoyed the series thus far, and I felt volume #4 was a very good continuation of the story arc. I enjoyed the challenges presented in this volume. I especially liked the Dorp story; not everything turns out well, despite how much I wished it might. That's just life, and I thought the author did a very nice job with it. The very last lines in this volume were a shocker, and absolutely guaranteed that I'll purchase the next installment as soon as it comes out. Well done, sir - well done indeed. I honestly enjoyed this volume as much (or more) than the previous works in the series. I believe the author has grown the story with a lot of love, and I recommend this series.
That being said, I also have to express my disappointment with this author. I, along with everyone else on his mailing list, received an email 'asking for a favor'. The email went on to describe how 'somebody' dropped a one-star review, and how the author "checked out the guy's other reviews", commenting unfavorably on 'this guys' other reviews, and ended up asking for a 5-star review.
Now I get it that no one likes having their work harshly criticized, and that success as an author on is a direct result of high reviews that drive sales. But I've read the review in question, and - while I don't agree with everything stated in it, in all honesty there are some aspects of the review that you might benefit from as constructive criticism. You, as a creator, should know there is often as much to be gained from an unflattering review as there is from the most lavish review. Every creator, no matter how famous, successful, or not, must subject themselves to the opinions of their constituency, and 'take their lumps' and learn to accept harsh reviews as part of the process. The most successful creators look not to 'rally the troops' for ONE dunning review; instead, they look at those harsh reviews for something they might take away to make their product even better.
Lastly - I enjoy your work. I appreciate how the story arc has grown, especially in this latest volume. However, I honestly feel that your 'call to arms' email was uncalled for and REALLY not cool. You made it clear you were referring to a specific review and person, and when I looked this evening, there were several replies to the review calling the reviewer a 'troll'. One even went so far as to repeat almost exactly what you said in your email, saying they'd 'researched' this person's other reviews, and commenting on how they'd given bad reviews to every other book they'd read, although, in fairness, this person's reply did not include your email's reference to dropping a deuce in a field of virgin snow. I'm not about to draw any conclusions about an individual that left a bad review; that's their opinion. But I DO know that those persons leaving those replies are the REAL trolls when they denigrate and gang up on a single individual because they don't agree with the opinions expressed, and your email was an open invitation to that kind of behavior. Please sir, be a professional; accept the good and the bad with grace and dignity, and don't paint a target on someone. I read your email before I purchased volume 4. I elected to read the work before I read any reviews. I read the existing reviews prior to writing this one. My review is based mostly on my experience with the book itself, but also on the experience apart from the book that included your email and what occurred as a result.
I think you're a fine author, and that volume 4 is your best work yet on this series. I eagerly look forward to the next installment. I hope your next announcement email will simply be the release announcement and a call to read it and give it a heartfelt review on it's merits. I only want to write a review that talks about the fun I had reading your work; not this other stuff. - I devoured this book in a single setting, just like the other 3 in the series. It is fun, the characters are infinitely likeable, and just stuffed full (no pun intinded, well maybe) of weird, steamy sex. I actually laughed out loud at some of the things Stig said, which is a rare thing for me to do while reading. I would heartily recommend this book to anyone, it's not great literature, but if you're looking for that, your in the wrong section.
- I started reading this series out of mild curiosity and, as an illustrator, I have to admit that the cover grabbed my attention. It turned into a guilty pleasure and when the sequel came out, i enjoyed the continuing saga.
What makes these books enjoyable are that aside from the naughty parts, it’s actually a really well written and interesting premise-something like an X-rated Ready Player One.
This fourth book does not disappoint, picking up where the third ended. My only complaint is that the books aren’t longer! (That’s what she said)
As with any book, everyone’s tastes are personal and this is certainly not a story for prudes or those looking for some intellectual essay on the human condition. This is fantasy, fun, sex, and adventure.
It’s a fast read and most definitely NOT for kids.
I rate it 5 stars and eagerly look forward to more installments. - AJ has once again done it again, truly a wonderful work of fiction especially in the sense of Harem style books. You find yourself Falling in Love with various characters hoping things work out and in the end finding out that they can not be patched up the way you wished it would be, huge Cliffhanger at the End of This Book had me biting at my nails, thank you for everything you've given us please continue to keep the suspense alive and to keep the story going
- This series continues to challenge the boundary between game and reality. How much would we risk for those in the worlds we create? What does love mean as those we love change around us? How is our love and connection effected when we're approaching those created for us in a game? These continue to be explored along with a healthy doce of erotic fun.
- A great continuation of the series. I must admit that when it popped up on my new books list, I almost broke a finger getting it onto my . New characters, new challenges, new characters while continuing to develop and engage us with the main protagonists.
So, when does #5 show up <hint, hint>? - This series is a hilarious and action packed adventure in revenge. It's mostly meant to be a fun popcorn read, but it has some touching moments and some interesting character development. If your looking for something fun to read and are ok with some explicit content, then this is a good choice.
- While this book has it Bad Guys again, But it has really really 2 Bad Guy this time and of course a pretty bad Succubus, and everything in between. I have read A. J. Markham book , Succubus A Christmas Special, but You don't have to read that book in order to understand His first book or the other ones that follow. I have read Succubus 1, Succubus 2, Succubus 3, and just finished Succubus 4. I have enjoyed all 5 of A. J. Markham's books.
As soon as I finish this review, I'm starting Book 5.
Well I just finished Book 4, and believe Me it's just as good as His four book. So now it's on to Book 5.
If You just want to sit back and enjoy a fantasy book I recommend reading one of not all of A. J. Markham books. Well written & very enjoyable. You can almost picture Yourself there with all of the characters.
Have fun & a safe trip.
Bye
