Milk and Vine Inspirational Quotes From Classic Vines Adam Gasiewski Emily Beck 9781973124269 Books Reviews

  • stolen content #littlestinkers
  • It's fine, except for the fact many of the vines are misquoted. Vine didn't die for this amateurism.
  • This is absolute trash. The vines aren't even worded correctly and there is absolutely no credit given to the original creators
  • While I do appreciate this book and its tribute to vine culture, it's not the best. There are vines in here that are phrased incorrectly. For example, the book says, "you almost made me drop my croissant." When it should read, " YAHH...... stopppp I could have dropped my croissant." I gave it three stars because it did make me laugh, but also vine should be more respected. Side note it was missing some quality vines.
  • To be honest I saw this book trending on Twitter and I got so excited. I love mine and he got me through a lot of hard times so I was happy to see that I can have it in my hands physically through this book. but it really bothers me how none of the original artists are listed for the creation of their vines. As a community and everybody was feeding off of each other, putting credit where was it due. The concept of the book is great but I hate that no one was given credit for their lines. And to say that it is for the culture is kind of disrespectful. I understand that you’re trying to keep vine alive as we all want but I don’t think this was executed correctly and it kind of leaves a bad taste in people‘s mouth. Page 74 definitely could’ve had a list of all their acts or where their new content can be found. I understand that everything I’m saying is completely optional, but I thought I would share. On another note, a lot of the vines are incorrectly quoted, meaning some of the copied vines are wrong. it still makes me laugh tho
  • This had a lot of potential, and was kind of funny, but the two biggest problems were #1 misquoting the vines (really? They're iconic how could they have been misquoted?),which was disappointing to see, and #2 they didn't give any money to the creators of these vines, while they're making money off of this book. Unfair.
  • to my knowledge the people making profit off this book have not credited nor shared the profit to those of the original vines or dedicated the proceeds to bringing back vine. Not that I want it back but they are essentially writing down a script for videos they have no right to. This is a great book I just wish the people who are selling it out the money to proper use instead of seemingly pocketing it and not even giving credit where credit is due. Which I did buy the book and nowhere was any credit given to the original owner per any video.
  • No credit was given to any of the content creators, then the "authors" said that if the public wants to give credit then they can find the creators and the "authors" will revise and put in a section for credit. That's like handing in a paper with no works cited and telling your professor they can find the sources and then you'll put it in. You put together a book of people's work, you give them the credit!
